Police investigate armed robbery at Kitchener business

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a commercial robbery involving a firearm in Kitchener.

On Aug. 12, at approximately 11:10 p.m., police responded to the area of Kingsway Drive and Franklin Street South for reports of an armed robbery.

Two males entered the business and confronted an employee. One suspect brandished a firearm and demanded money and merchandise. The males fled the store with items prior to police responding.

There were no reports of any physical injuries.

Both males are described as black and both approximately six-feet.
