Pedestrian struck by vehicle suffers non-life-threatening injuries

A 24-year-old Waterloo man was transported to an out-of-region hospital with non-life-threatening injuries early this morning after he was struck by a vehicle in Waterloo.

Waterloo regional police’s traffic services unit is investigating the 6:35 a.m. collision on Westmount Road North near Father David Bauer Drive.

The driver reported no physical injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.

Roads in the area were closed for the investigation and have since been reopened.
