Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a check wellbeing in Kitchener.
On Friday, at approximately 5:30 p.m., police responded to the area of Highland Road West and Ira Needles Boulevard for a report of a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed through a parking lot.
A witness reported observing the driver of the vehicle travelling with the passenger door open and a child’s arm hanging out of the vehicle. The child could also be heard yelling for help.
The vehicle is described as a white two door convertible with a black top.
Investigators are looking to identify and locate the owner and driver of the vehicle pictured below in connection to this incident.
The investigation remains ongoing by WRPS’ General Investigations Unit.
