Four from Cambridge busted following intense drug investigation

Waterloo regional police have arrested four Cambridge men in connection to a lengthy drug investigation.

On Jan. 30, members of the Waterloo regional police drugs and firearms unit completed a four month controlled drugs and substances act investigation with the execution of five search warrants all within the City of Cambridge.

Four residences and one commercial business were searched.

Suspected cocaine, fentanyl, and substantial sum of Canadian currency have been seized as part of the investigation.

A 25-year-old, a 20-year-old, and two 19-year-old males have been arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, as well as various court order charges.

The men were held in police custody for a bail hearing.
