The driver of a stalled transport truck on Cedar Creek Road was charged after police found multiple unsafe repairs had been done to the vehicle.
Police allege the driver's truck was stopped at the intersection of Industrial Road and Cedar Creek Road, just minutes outside of Cambridge. Upon arrival, police found that the truck's air brake system was held in by zip ties.

The driver of the truck received seven traffic act charges including operation of an unsafe vehicle.
"The Waterloo Regional Police Service monitors, enforces, and investigates road safety issues throughout the region of Waterloo and works to improve road safety on an ongoing basis for our community," said WRPS in the post.
