A 19-year-old Cambridge man is facing a three-month driving suspension after he was nabbed by Wellington OPP while allegedly driving impaired over the weekend and ending up in a ditch.
Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police said on March 8, at around 5:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to a single motor-vehicle into a ditch on Laird Road West within Puslinch Township.
As a result of the investigation they arrested and charged the Cambridge man with impaired operation, a blood alchohol concentration above zero and driving while under suspension.
There were no injuries as a result of the collision.
A 90-day Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph on March 18, 2025.
