May 27, 1944 – January 1, 2025
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on January 1, 2025 after a lengthy battle with prostate cancer, at age 80.
He was a loving and devoted husband to Marion (nee MacDonald) for 61 years. Dearly loved by daughters Caryn Hillman (Rick), Lori Rigby (Dan), Joanne Comeau (Dan). Fondly remembered by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Will be missed by sisters Colleen (Stan - deceased), Shirley (Terry), Bonnie (Peter). Predeceased by youngest sister Debbie. Remembered by many nieces and nephews.
A man of Christian faith, David displayed his deep love for people in his visits to the residents of Golden Years Nursing Home, and is especially remembered by his dear friend Jamie, with whom he formed a lasting friendship. David cherished time spent with family, golfing with friends, travelling with Marion and family, and fishing at the river.
A special thank you to Lisaard House Hospice for their compassionate care. Also the prayers and support of his church family are greatly appreciated.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday January 18 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm with service and reception to follow at Roseville Church, 2729 Fischer-Hallman Road, Roseville Ontario.
