August 23, 1954 – December 22, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Paul Quigley announce his passing on December 22, 2024 in Kitchener, Ontario, following a gallant fight with Parkinson's disease.  Paul was born on August 23, 1954; the middle child of Claude and Alice (Roach) Quigley in Grand Falls, NFLD.  He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Brian and Derek, nephew Ryan Quigley, and brother-in-law Larry Steacy.  He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Yvonne Dunne (Gordon), Peg (Dennis Reid) and Debi Steacy; brothers Claude (Jessie Chisholm), Bob, Peter (Liz) and Tony (Sharon); and also many nieces and nephews, most especially, Todd, Sheri and Dwayne Quigley, who grew up with Uncle Paul at all their life events.

Paul moved to Toronto as a teenager and upon retirement from the retail business, he moved to Kitchener to be closer to his sister Peg and her family.  He was a very gentle and quiet individual who enjoyed reading and loved his family.  He was never one to sit still and was always on the go but would always take time for conversation and make you laugh with his stories from days past.  He was very proud to share the fellowship of Bill Wilson and Dr. Bob since mother’s day of 1999.

A Memorial Service will take place in Grand Falls-Windsor during the summer of 2025.
