In sadness, we announce the unexpected and sudden passing of Paul Edward O’Brien on January 19, 2025, at the age of 68.
Heartbroken, loved, and survived by his spouse, Michael Bennett, his son Marc O’Brien, and his sisters Bev Wright and Lisa Richard.
Predeceased by his father Edward (1979), mother Genevieve (2017), brother Bill (2008), and son Jamie (2022).
Paul will also be sadly missed by his brother-in-law Marc Richard, his kindness to Paul will never be forgotten.
Paul had a wonderful memory, always thinking of others, and never forgetting any occasions. He always gave a hardy warm hello to anyone who knew him.
Paul’s challenges in life were very difficult, but he stayed a bright light to anyone who knew him
Loved and sadly missed.
At Paul’s request, cremation has taken place, and no services will take place. He will be laid to rest in New Hope Cemetery. Donations made to the Cambridge and District Humane Society in Paul’s memory would be greatly appreciated by the family (payable by cheque or online following the link below).
