Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 10, 2025, in her 100th year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband the late Lorne Neely (June 1987). Beloved sister of the late Hugh Henderson (February 2013), and the late Marion Warren (December 2018). Beloved aunt of Larry and Karen Warren, the late Brian (December 2018) and Patty Warren, and Dennis and Nancy Warren. Loving great-aunt of Steven, Lori, Marcie, John, Julie, and Matthew.
Marjorie was blessed to be an aunt to four generations of nieces and nephews. Though Marjorie had no children of her own, she was an honourary mother to many. Marjorie “Mame” was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed baking, shopping, collecting treasures, watching baseball and hockey, and listening to country music. Not only was Aunt Marjorie talented with knitting, but she also loved ceramics, and for a time sold her pieces at the St. Jacob’s Farmers Market.
Mame was happiest when she was spending time with her family and friends. She never said no to an adventure. We will always remember her smile when she came to greet us at the door, Mame will be deeply missed and forever cherished in our hearts.
We wish to extend a special thank you to all of the staff and volunteers at Hospice Wellington for the exceptional and compassionate care of Marjorie, and for making her last few weeks so comfortable.
Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, on Saturday March 15, 2025, from 7:00p.m.-9:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 12:00p.m. Interment will follow at Mount View Cemetery. Guests are invited to join the family afterwards for refreshments back at Corbett Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Wellington and are greatly appreciated by the family.
