Jo-Ann Marjorie Rickard passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the age of 86.
Jo-Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found great purpose later in life through her volunteer work at the Langs Community Center. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her sons Michael (Stacey) and Jeff (Julie), daughter Tracey (former spouse Michael Graper), grandchildren Nicole, Dana, Sara, Adam, Jessica, Emily, and Jacob, and many great-grandchildren. Jo-Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband John Rickard.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the amazing staff at Stirling Heights LTC for the loving and compassionate care they gave to Jo-Ann in her last years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Parkinson's Foundation Canada would be appreciated.
