Clifford “Cliff” Holland passed away peacefully at the Hanover & District Hospital on July 25, 2021 at the age of 92.
Loving husband of 66 years to wife Margaret (nee Woolner), loving father to Donna Schram (Rick, d. 2019), James “Jim” Holland (Cathy), and Roger Holland (Cathie), dear brother to Elizabeth “Betty” Kirkpatrick (Elwood), and sister-in-law Phyllis. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Carly Holland (Evan), Jesse Holland (Serena), Alan Taylor, and Steven Taylor (Jen), and four great-grandchildren. Cliff was predeceased by his parents Theresa and Sydney Holland of Alliston, Ontario, and his brother Donald Holland. Before moving to Hanover, Cliff and family were long-time residents of Cambridge. Cliff took pride in a lifelong career with the Ministry of Natural Resources from 1954 to 1987. His smile and quirky sense of humour will be missed.
Cremation has taken place, and a Funeral Service will be held at Parklawn Cemetery (740 Fountain St. N, Cambridge) on Saturday, July 31st at 11:00 am. All standard Covid protocols will be in place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Cliff’s memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
