Muriel Viola Hauser passed away peacefully at St. Andrew’s Terrace on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the age of 97.
Muriel was a loving wife and mother, a warm, caring, and compassionate person, and she was loved by all who knew her. She was a past member of the Eastern Star. She loved to play bingo and enjoyed boating with her husband and family on the Trent Waterway and Georgian Bay. Muriel will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her brother Bruce Gibner of Vancouver B.C., four sons: Ronald Hauser (Betsy) of Kanata, Ray Hauser (Karen) of Pennsylvania, David Hauser (Mary) of Dundas, and Edward Duncan Hauser (Ruth) of Cambridge (Preston), daughter Pat Lenzi (Frank) of Cambridge (Galt), ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Muriel was predeceased by her beloved husband Harold Walter Hauser in 2003, her parents Charles Gibner and Evelyn Gibner (nee Thompson), three sisters: Jean, Reva, and Barb, and two brothers: Russ and George. Cremation has taken place and a Graveside Service will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
