Renée Rosena Haney passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the age of 79.
Renée was a family-oriented woman who loved to cook and bake. She was famous for her delicious shortbread cookies. Renée also liked to keep her home clean, including the floors and walls. She worked part-time for many years at a Tax Office in Kitchener, and went back to school to study Business, graduating early. As an avid reader, Renée could go through a thick book in a day. We will miss her whistling, her loving presence, and her caring spirit. Renée is survived by her sons John and Mark Bilicky, and her siblings Ewart (Doreen), Major Donald Wheeler (Alexis), Daphne (Ned), Lillian (Reverend Jack Hawkins), and Dorothy. She was predeceased by her parents Allan and Lillian Wheeler, and her sister Edna.
As per Renée's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be a service at this time.
