Marilyn Helen Goldmann (nee Paterson), passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, in Cambridge, Ontario, at the age of 69.

A cherished mother, Marilyn's legacy lives on through her daughters, Manda, Kim, and Mindy. Her joy multiplied when she became the adored grandmother of Trevor, Alix, Chris, Star, Edie, Racine, Preston, and Arwen, with whom she shared countless precious moments.

Born on January 1, 1956, in Oshawa, Ontario, Marilyn was the cherished daughter of the late Jamie and Helen Paterson, Marilyn was a sibling to a large and loving family, including Gillard, Keith, Joyce, Linda, Clyde, Dale, Lyle, and Leota. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Her interests were as diverse as they were delightful. Marilyn found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from solving puzzles to jamming in the car with her grandson. She was an avid fan of watching Monday Night Bingo and relished the shows on TLC. Her beautiful soul was evident in her love for spending time with her grandchildren, and even in the face of adversity, she fought valiantly, always smiling and maintaining a positive outlook for her family.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who has reached out or sown support to them during this time. They would also like to share a special note of gratitude to her sister Linda, who was a constant source of support and companionship.

At this time, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
