We are heartbroken to announce the peaceful passing of Patricia Dicks on December 24th at Cambridge Memorial Hospital after an extended stay. A cherished mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Patricia lived a full and vibrant 97 years of life.
Patricia is survived by her four children: Susan (Ben), John, Joanne (Haydn) and Robert (Heather). She was a devoted Nan to six grandchildren – Emily (Josh), Luke (Gemma), Rebecca (Jonathan), Laura (John), Nigel, Devon & their mom Frances. She also leaves behind her sister Jackie.
She is now reunited with her husband of 42 years, Peter Dicks (1996). She is also predeceased by her siblings Christian and Michael.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to all the staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital for their compassionate and dedicated care of Patricia during her stay with them.
Patricia’s life will be celebrated on Monday, December 30th, 2024. The family invites all who knew and loved her to join them in remembering the remarkable woman she was. A visitation will take place from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road. Patricia’s funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. All are invited to join the family for a reception following the service.
