JULY 16, 1960 – JUNE 14, 2021
With great sadness, her family announces that Tina passed away peacefully at home, on Monday, June 14, 2021 at the age of 60. She is reunited with her son Robert John Conners (1999), mother Lois Dawe (nee Moore), sister Laurie Ansley, and brother Robert “Bob” Dawe.
Loving mother of Lindsay Conners, Jacqueline Gillam, and Lacey Conners. Proud and loving grandmother of Olivia Machado, Zoey Gillam, Dominik O’Toole, and Leo Conners. She will also be lovingly remembered by her father James Dawe, sisters Terri Lynn Watts and Karen Dawe, brother Daniel Dawe, many nieces, nephews and all her wonderful friends who have been such an important part of her life; she loved them greatly.
Tina was a loving, outgoing mom and she loved being a grandma. She was always there for her family; she was even there at the birth of her grandson Leo, making Lacey laugh all through her labour, and was the first person to hold him. She loved spending time with family and friends, playing games, listening to music, and just being with them. She also enjoyed communing with nature, taking walks, canoeing, and fishing. She could frequently be found dancing around the kitchen while listening to Alanis Morissette and eating tomato sandwiches with salt. But above everything else, her favourite thing was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In accordance with her wishes, a private family service will take place, followed by cremation. A celebration of her life will be held when it is safe to gather. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cambridge Self Help Food Bank would be appreciate by her family.
Now she is with her son Bobby.
