Loving husband to Anne Fraser Finlayson (n.Brown).
Born with a very large sweet tooth in Hamilton, Ontario. Survived by sisters Jean, Elsie and brother Don (wife Anka). Proud graduate of McMaster University; he was an active participant in alumni activities. Father to Glen, Gail (partner Andrew) and Sheri. Grandfather to Samantha and Matthew. Great-grandfather to Bryson and Logan.
Bob spent his career with Texaco. He and the family transferred from Toronto to London to Dartmouth to Belleville and back to Toronto. After retirement Bob and Anne relocated to Tillsonburg and then finally to Cambridge. Bob loved to fish, he enjoyed the thrill of a casino win and betting on the ponies. Arguably Bob’s greatest passion was the fellowship he found in AA. Bob also fondly recalled the years they wintered in Largo, Florida and the multitude of vacations they took all over the world. A master of puns and “Dad jokes”, Bob especially enjoyed making people laugh. He will be dearly missed.
