The family of Patricia (Martin) Angus announces her passing on Thursday October 10,2024, after a brief illness.
Survived by her husband of 44 years Larry. Sons Michael Loker (Rita),Wayne Loker (Betty) and Peter Loker (LuAnn). Predeceased by her son Larry Loker (Judy). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Mike, Howard and Larry Loker, Larissa Sherman (Cory), Cameron Loker (Kate), Devan Loker and Myranda LaFrance (Ray). Cherished great grandmother to Madilynn and Spencer Sherman and Jayke LaFrance.
Lovingly remembered by dear friend Christine Schuman Loker. Patricia was the last surviving member of her Martin family. Predeceased by her mother Lomaholly, her father Harry, brothers Harry, Rick, Eddie, Marc, and sister Joanne. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Pat had a witty sense of humour and was not afraid to speak her mind. When her family was young, they enjoyed camping with family friends. She took great pride in keeping a clean house and staying active doing just that. She worked at Marsdale Manor and then Riverbend Place before her retirement where she had enjoyed making connections with elderly patients. Connections were important to Pat. She enjoyed spending time with family,especially at birthdays and holidays,and was known to start much silliness, joking, singing and dancing. She will be greatly missed.
As expressions of sympathy,donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Coutts Funeral Home.
There will be no funeral per Patricia's wishes. Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration will be held at a later date.
The family expresses sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Cambridge Memorial Hospital Emergency Department for their kindness and compassion.
