Cambridge native and RedHawks forward Reid Gammage has been named the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League Eastern Conference Performer of the Week for Dec. 30 to Jan. 5.
Gammage played in a pair of games and recorded two goals and two assists for four points.
The effort helped lead the RedHawks to a home-and-home sweep of the Hamilton Kilty B's. Cambridge won 4-3 in Hamilton on Jan. 2 before securing a 7-3 victory in front of 722 fans at Galt Arena Gardens on Jan. 4.
Gammage, a 13th round selection of the London Knights in the 2023 Ontario Hockey League draft, leads Cambridge in scoring with 15 goals and 20 assists. His 35 points have him tied for 10th in the GOJHL.
The RedHawks have two games on the schedule this week.
They head to Caledon to face the Bombers on Friday night before returning home on Saturday to take on the Caledonia Corvairs.
