The Cambridge Sports Hall of Fame has unveiled its 2025 induction class.
Five athletes, three teams and two builders will take their rightful place among other local sports legends at a ceremony next year.
Figure skater Bryce Davison, sprinter Chris Robinson, multi-sport endurance athlete Debbie Bulten, and gymnasts Michaela and Aisha Gerber will be enshrined in the athletes category.
The 1909-1911 Galt Professional Hockey Club, the 1931 Intercounty Baseball League champion Galt Terriers, and the 1983 and 1984 Junior Intercounty Baseball League champion Cambridge Bulldogs are going in under the team category.
University of Waterloo women's golf coach Carla Munch-Miranda and longtime community sports advocate George Hill will be inducted as builders.
Since 1998, 205 athletes, builders and teams have been honoured.
The 2025 induction ceremony is scheduled for May 3 at 1 p.m. outside the hall of fame in the Cambridge Centre mall.
