The Cambridge RedHawks have added another Cambridge player to their roster.

Another local player will be hitting the ice for the Cambridge RedHawks this season.

The team announced the signing of defenceman and Cambridge native Cole Miranda over the weekend.

The 17-year-old was one of the players acquired in a recent trade with the Brantford Titans.

During the 2023-24 season, Miranda suited up in 47 games for the then Brantford Bandits, scoring a goal and adding three assists. He also had 53 penalty minutes over 42 regular season and five playoff games.

Prior to his junior hockey career, he spent his U18 season in the Telephone City after playing in the Cambridge Minor Hockey Association system.

The RedHawks had already resigned Cambridge players Cameron Fries and Reid Gammage.

The 2024-25 Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League regular season schedule is expected to be released in the coming weeks.
