Teddy bears will rain down on the ice at Galt Arena Gardens on Saturday.
When the Cambridge RedHawks score their first goal of the game against the Ayr Centennials, fans can litter the ice with plush toys during the annual Teddy Bear Toss game.
Fans will also be able to donate a bear and receive $5 off certain RedHawks merchandise and $3 off hats and toques.
All toys must be in a clear plastic bag when thrown onto the ice.
Once collected, they'll be donated to the Cambridge Firefighters Basket Fund. Since 1921, the fund has been assisting thousands of families with food, gifts and traditional Christmas meals each year.
On the ice, the RedHawks currently sit in sixth place in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League's Eastern Conference with a record of 12-9-1-1, good for 26 points in 23 games.
Ayr is in first place with an 18-4 record.
Puck drop on Saturday is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Before Saturday's contest, Cambridge heads to Port Colborne to face the Sailors on Friday night.
