There are several ways residents can honour current and past members of the Canadian Armed Forces on Remembrance Day.

Service for residents at Marian Residence Retirement Home

Members of the Preston Legion will be putting on a service for residents who can't attend in-person at the cenotaph on Monday.
Monday, Nov. 11
Royal Canadian Legion Preston Branch 126 Remembrance Day Ceremony
Preston Cenotaph - 615 King St E
A march at 10 a.m. will be followed by the ceremony at 10:40 a.m. Afterwards, residents are being welcomed back to the legion at 334 Westminster Dr N for tea, coffee and chili. The bar will also be open in the lounge.
Royal Canadian Legion Galt Branch 121 Remembrance Day Ceremony
Queen's Square Cenotaph
Parade begins at 10 a.m. with the service starting at 10:10 a.m. and running until 11:20 a.m. A light lunch and comradeship will follow at the legion located at 4 Veterans Way.
Royal Canadian Legion Hespeler Branch 272 Remembrance Day Ceremony
Old Town Hall - 11 Tannery St. E
Ceremony begins 10:30 a.m. Attendees are asked to arrive for 10 a.m. Residents are welcome back to the legion after the service.
Time of Remembrance Reception
Cambridge Public Library Queen's Square - 1 North Square
Music will be played on the piano at 9:30 before the ceremony at the cenotaph, a moment of silence at 11 a.m. and a wartime vocals and piano concert at 11:15 a.m. Light refreshments and snacks are being served while supplies last.
Art Cart: Remembrance Day
Cambridge Public Library Queen's Square - 1 North Square
Children can create a poppy bookmark in honour of the day.
