To Build What We Become When We Dream

Queen’s Square Idea Exchange - 1 North Square, all day

This art exhibition, curated by Sarah-Tai Black and featuring Katrina Coombs, Nnenna Okore and Chason Yeboah, brings together Black artists and celebrates their work. Runs all weekend.

The Mom Project

Preston Idea Exchange - 435 King St. E, All day

Come view a collection of small oil on board portraits by Mark Crofton Bell. Paintings of his mother during the final years of her life shine a light on the process of aging, physical and mental deterioration, and death. Runs all weekend.

Preston Book Club 

Preston Idea Exchange - 435 King St. E, 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

This club meets once a month to discuss a set title. April’s book is Every Falling Star by Sunju Lee.

A central community food hub, the market features 26 year round vendors and 30 seasonal vendors.

Hespeler Optimist Park Community Cleanup

Hespeler Memorial Arena - 640 Ellis Rd, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Earth Day may have passed but residents can still cleanup the community with the Hespeler Optimist Club. Supplies will be provided.

West Galt Community Cleanup

Galt, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
