Fibreworks 20th Anniversary Collection Show

In honour of the 20th anniversary, a collection of past Fibreworks will be on display. Runs until Dec. 1.

Cambridge Public Library Queen's Square - 1 North Square, all day

An exhibition by José Luis Torres that inspires people to think about the critiques of consumerism. Runs until Jan. 17.

Next in Fibre: 20th Anniversary of Fibreworks

Cambridge Public Library Queen's Square - 1 North Square, all day

A new art installation with fibre as its inspiration is ready to view. Runs from Aug. 24 to Nov. 10.

Art in the Open Tour

Throughout Galt, all weekend

Old Post Office Book Club

Cambridge Public Library Old Post Office - 12 Water St. S, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

This group meets monthly to discuss a set title. October's book is The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman.

Connections 50+

Build relationships with other older adults through concerts, crafting and chats.

Free Fashion Fridays at the Fashion History Museum

74 Queen St E, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

In honour of Culture Days, admission to the Fashion History Museum is free.

Main Street Night Market

5 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Head to the Galt core for vendors, entertainment and light installations.

International Day of Girl Celebration

Join members of Rhythm and Blues for a conversation around growing up Black and racialized in Ontario.

Man Of La Mancha Theatre Production

Start the weekend with a show at the local theatre. Two show times are also running on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 12

Cambridge Farmers’ Market

40 Dickson St, 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

A central community food hub, the market features 26 year round vendors and 30 seasonal vendors.

Cambridge Mural Tour

Galt, 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Rocktoberfest

Cambridge Newfoundland Club - 1500 Dunbar Rd, 5:30 p.m.

Enjoy a rock show in support of Lisaard House with performances by Always on Friday, Flash Johnson, Manfini Band, Congregation, Fire Train and Blue Nova. For tickets click here.

Destroyer at the Preston Legion

Another option for live music. Tickets are $20 for legion members and veterans with proper ID and $25 for non-members at the door. Discount tickets are available at the legion and regular tickets can also be purchased at Wave Maker Brewing and Jackass Brewing.
