Next in Fibre: 20th Anniversary of Fibreworks Collection Show

Preston Idea Exchange - 435 King St. E, all day

In honour of the 20th anniversary, a collection of past Fibreworks will be on display. Runs until Dec. 1.

Queen's Square Idea Exchange - 1 North Square, all day

An exhibition by José Luis Torres that inspires people to think about the critiques of consumerism. Runs until Jan. 17.

Next in Fibre: 20th Anniversary of Fibreworks

Queen's Square Idea Exchange - 1 North Square, all day

A new art installation with fibre as its inspiration is ready to view. Runs from Aug. 24 to Nov. 10.

Meet other older adults through concerts, crafting and chats.

Free Fashion Fridays at the Fashion History Museum

74 Queen St E, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

In honour of Culture Days, admission to the Fashion History Museum is free.

Welcoming Week: Tree of Welcome Art Cart

Queen's Square Idea Exchange - 1 North Square, 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Create a leaf for the Tree of Welcome that will remain up until Thanksgiving. Also happening Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Residents new to Cambridge can learn all about the Hespeler library and its programs and services.
