A four-hour journey from Moyer's Landing in Cambridge's Blair area brought dozens of kayakers and tubers to Riverbluff's Park on a day that most people and even animals would spend indoors, staying cool.
Tubing the Grand had booked 100 people for the eight-kilometre journey that ended in the Galt area of the city.
Julia Berger, co-owner of Tubing the Grand, said even though the typical season had been delayed due to COVID, bookings have been pretty steady. With only about a dozen or so more days left to go for tubing, she said, weather permitting, she could maybe squeeze in a few weekends of kayaking before Thanksgiving.
