The city will begin work on the Thompson Park Boardwalk this week to extend the lifespan of the path along Devil's Creek trail.
To complete the work, the boardwalk is being closed beginning July 8.
Weather permitting, it will reopen on July 26.
It's anticipated the improvements will extend the life of the path by 10 years.
