According to Grandbridge Energy, a power outage has been affecting over 200 customers in the Coronation Boulevard area.
The Delta plaza and surrounding area have been battling a power outage affecting local businesses and homes for the past five hours.
Grandbridge posted on their social media account, that they are working on fixing the issue with an estimated time of around 11:30 a.m.
Delays due to the severe thunderstorm that is currently dumping massive amounts of water on Cambridge might be possible.
A tornado warning has also been issued for Cambridge and Grandbridge notes that crews are ready to respond to any emergencies.
"If you see powerlines down, stay 10 meters away, the length of a full-sized school bus & call 9-1-1. Stay safe, everyone," said the power company on social media.
