Local comic book illustrator offers free drawing workshop

A local comic book creator and animator who's worked on popular Disney film Princess and the Frog will be at Hero's Tale in Preston offering a free workshop on comic book creation

In a series of workshops, a local comic creator will be teaching aspiring illustrators how to draw and create comic book characters. 

Taking over the Hero's Tale comic book shop in Preston, comic book illustrator Keith Grachow looks to share his expertise and experience with as many people as possible. 

The event will take place at the Preston comic book shop at 634 King St E. in Cambridge on July 29 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This session will be all about creating and writing a story and developing characters. 

Grachow is a long time artists and is the co-founder of KikaMika Comics which has been self-producing their own comics since 2021. 

While running his own comic book company, he is also a professional illustrator who has created comics, graphic novels and children’s books.

He’s also worked in animation as the digital ink and paint designer on popular Disney movies Princess and the Frog and Winnie The Pooh.
