Voting is open in the Ward 1 byelection for anyone who wants to cast a ballot online.

Voter identification cards containing voting PINs and information on how to vote online were sent to individuals on the voters' list earlier this month.

The voters' list is created from a preliminary list of electors provided to the city by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC), which municipalities are required to use.

Internet voting is available until 7:59 p.m. on Election Day, Monday November 13, 2023.

Anyone who did not receive a Voter Information Card is asked to submit a request to be added to the Voters' List at [email protected].

Applications to be added to the Voters' List must include identification that shows your name and address. It also requires you to fill out a  EO 1 - Application to Amend the Voters' List and email it to [email protected] to complete the process over the phone by calling the City of Cambridge Election line at 519-623-1340, ext. 4561.

In person requests to amend the voters list can also be done at City Hall, 50 Dickson St., first floor, and at all advance voting locations, and on election day at four polling locations.

Voters will be required to provide proof of identity and residency.
