Hespeler Road plaza getting two new tenants

After one grocery store moved out on Hespeler Road, another is preparing to move in.

A FreshCo is taking over the storefront at 525 Hespeler Road formerly occupied by Goodness Me! The health food store closed its doors on Oct. 14.

FreshCo is owned by Sobeys Inc. and launched into the market in 2010. It's known for its commitment to a low-price shopping experience and operates over 148 stores across Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan.

External communications advisor for Sobeys, Tshani Jaja, confirmed the location would be opening on Dec. 12.

"With a commitment to low prices, a freshness guarantee, and a diverse product selection, FreshCo continues to deliver a unique shopping experience," Jaja said.

"Doors open at 8 a.m., and our team looks forward to welcoming and serving the Cambridge community."

Just next door, Club Pilates Cambridge is also getting ready to open its doors. 

Listed as "opening soon," the fitness business operates under the belief that "pilates is the path to a fuller, more satisfying physical existence," according to its website.

Club Pilates offers a range of class types for various ages and experience levels with 1,000 studio locations on four continents.
