Special weather statement in effect for:
- Kitchener - Cambridge - Region of Waterloo
- Mount Forest - Arthur - Northern Wellington County
Rain at times heavy continues this morning.
What: Rainfall, with localized amounts reaching 40 to 60 mm.
Where: Portions of southwestern Ontario.
When: This morning and possibly this afternoon.
Discussion: An area of showers or thunderstorms have entered the region and will last through this morning or afternoon. Plenty of moisture in the atmosphere will allow rain to fall heavy at times and amounts exceeding 60 mm may be possible in areas that receive several thunderstorms.
