Gaslight District hosting Super Bowl watch party

The Super Bowl will be shown on the big screen in the Gaslight District on Feb. 9.

One of the biggest sporting events of the year is coming to the largest outdoor screen of its kind.

The Gaslight District is hosting a Super Bowl tailgate watch party on Feb. 9.

Residents are encouraged to bring their own food, drinks, grills and decorations.

Four teams remain in the National Football League playoffs.

The Washington Commanders will face the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship game this Sunday at 3 p.m. In the AFC Championship, the Buffalo Bills travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs at 6:30 p.m.

This year's Super Bowl is being played at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, LA.

The tailgate party begins at 12 p.m. with kickoff scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

There's no cost of admission.
