A small fire at Jacob Hespeler Secondary School is sending kids home for the remainder of the day.
The public school board posted on social media that the school will be closing early while the odour from the fire dissipates.

Students have been dismissed to walk home and busses are on the way to the school to pick up the other students.
According to the Cambridge Fire Department, fire crews responded to calls of a fire at the school before 12 p.m. where a small fire broke out in a science lab resulting in $10,000 in damages.
No injuries were reported and classes are expected to resume at full capacity tomorrow.
