The city is seeking additional input from residents on its parks master plan.

As the City of Cambridge continues to work on its parks master plan, it needs more input from those who use them most.

The community can have its say on various aspects of accessibility and inclusion in city parks at a public information centre set up inside Galt Arena Gardens on Jan. 27.

Suggestions on accessible playgrounds, best practices, along with examples from other municipalities and amenities are idea starters the city is looking for.

In order to gather feedback, information on draft accessibility standards and a series of questions will be provided.

The parks master plan is being developed to guide the future of parks in the city for the next 30 years. Two surveys have already been completed and public input has been gathered during a youth summit and two 50+ information sessions.

The goal of the plan is to establish a framework to manage existing parks and build new ones that best reflect the communities in which they're located.

The information centre will be set up from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
