To mark the national day of remembrance of the Quebec City mosque attack the city will be lighting their city sign and pedestrian bridge green.
Seven years after the deadly attack in Quebec City, the country comes together to band against Islamophobia and remember the victims of the attack.
"It's a moment for the community to unite with Canadians in denouncing and resisting various expressions of Islamophobia that still exist today," said the city in a social media post.
"We invite you to reaffirm your dedication to opposing the hatred, fear, and ignorance that contribute to Islamophobia in all its manifestations."

The sign at Cambridge city hall and the pedestrian bridge that crosses over the Grand River in downtown Galt will all be lit up green to honour those who were killed in the attack and to raise awareness of the issues that still plague the Islamic community today.
