TORONTO – Saying “yes” to Encore paid off for Michael Wettlaufer of Cambridge. He matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the June 1, 2021 LOTTO MAX draw to win $100,000!

Michael says he plays the lottery when the jackpot is high. "I usually play Encore," he shared. "My ticket sat on my dresser for two weeks until I checked it. When I realized I won big, my heart started racing – I was so excited!"

Michael, a 47-year-old father and grandfather, says he called his friend right away after discovering his win. "I told him I either I won $100,000 or the machine was broken," he laughed. "He didn't believe me!"

Michael says this win feels amazing. He plans to celebrate his win and save it for a retirement fund.

Encore offers 22 ways to win and can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an extra $1. There is an Encore draw every day.
