The Lotto Max odds have shone in favour of Rodrigo Maure of Cambridge! He won a Maxmillions prize worth $1 million in the June 21, 2022 Lotto Max draw.

Rodrigo said he is an occasional lottery player who typically plays Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max. “I was at work on my break when I scanned my ticket on the OLG App,” he explains while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “When I saw $1 million, I couldn’t believe it. I had to Google how many zeros were in one million! I felt sick to my stomach from the excitement.”

Rodrigo couldn’t wait to get home and tell his fiancé the big news. “I knew how much this would mean to her. That we could have the wedding of her dreams. When I got home, we scanned the ticket together and hugged. It was a wonderful moment,” he smiled.

The 29-year-old father said his children come first. “I will put money away for their future education. I also want to share with my parents and then we will start planning our awesome wedding,” he concluded.

OLG is booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. We strongly encourage those with claims between $1,000 and $49,999.90 to submit them online or mail them in. The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Hurontario Street in Caledon Village.
