The Cambridge and District Humane Society is hoping residents consider shopping for animals in its care this holiday season.
A Christmas wish list has been released by the shelter.
Cat toys, small cat beds, Amazon gift cards, paper towel, garbage bags and bully sticks are among the most needed items.
Currently, there are nine cats, seven dogs and three small animals up for adoption.
Along with the wish list, a Pet Pics with Santa session is being put on at Ren's Pets on Pinebush Road on Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All that's required is a minimum $5 donation.
As the end of the year draws near, staff are also reminding residents that the final day for pick up from its emergency pet food bank is Dec. 19, with it reopening on Jan. 8.
