The Cambridge Food Bank is welcoming the community to a night out in support of its programs and services.
Its third annual CFB music bingo fundraiser is planned for Feb. 28 at EVO Kitchen and Bar on Water Street South.
Bingo, music, wine raffles and a silent auction are all part of the evening. Prizes will be awarded for the best '80s outfit.
A capital campaign is being launched this year that will see staff look to secure a larger location.
The food bank continued to see a high demand in 2024, handing out over 23,000 emergency hampers, with more than 33 per cent helping children in need.
Of the people seeking assistance, 22 per cent were employed.
Doors to the fundraiser open at 6 p.m. and bingo starts at 7 p.m.
