Cambridge firefighters from five stations are currently on the scene of a working industrial fire at Trade-Mark Industrial on Royal Oak Road in the city's north end.
A tweet from Cambridge Fire Department says crews quickly gained control of the fire and no injuries have been reported.
Waterloo Regional Police have closed the road.
Initial investigation found the fire started in a crane and spread to an office. Smoke could be seen billowing out of one of the offices.
Fire prevention captain John Percy said, the fire suppression system at the facility was able to almost completely extinguish the flames.
Firefighters have assisted in extinguishing the blaze and were preparing to go inside to investigate around 4 p.m.
