The Cambridge Arts Theatre on Water Street South.

The Cambridge Community Players are gearing up for their 90th season this September with auditions for Snow White, a British Pantomime, starting next week.

The Ben Crocker-penned version of the famous fairy tale incorporates songs, gags, slapstick comedy and dancing into the performance, which encourages audience participation.

Auditions for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Pantomime will be held at Cambridge Arts Theatre 47 Water St. S. June 20 and 21 starting at 6:30 p.m. with entrance through the Warnock Street back door.

Casting is open for ages 9 through 90 years for 18 parts, including six to eight performers needed for the chorus.

Auditions will be read from the script. Sherrie Miller is the director of the show, which will make its stage debut in November.

For more information email: [email protected].

The Players are also looking for board members, with three open positions available.

The Players will host their Annual General Meeting on June 28 at 7 p.m.

Anyone interested in the board positions or any of the theatre Head positions will need a sponsor form and also be a member.

The board will be a two-year term with meetings once a month, either online or in person.

Anyone interested can contact Michele Hildebrandt at business@cambridgecommunityplayers.com.

The group is looking for past members of Galt Little Theatre or Cambridge Community Players to help with memorabilia for the kick off of the 90th season in September.
