The Cambridge Art Galleries is in search of talented youth artists to show off their work for a small zine.
Youth are encouraged to submit art and writing samples for the online community publication that will be circulated in mid August.
Designed as a way to promote expression through creative content, the magazine allows artists to tackle universal themes such as love, culture, self-identity and childhood in their art.
Written work can take many forms including fictional short stories, reviews, poetry and nonfiction.
Hand-drawn and digital artwork such as paintings, illustrations, comics and photography will be accepted.
Teens between the age of 12 and 19 who live, work or go to school in Cambridge are welcome to participate. One submission of each type is permitted per person, with a maximum of two pieces in total.
Submissions open on June 26 and close July 21.
Work can be submitted through the Cambridge Art Galleries Youth Magazine Submission Form.
