Langs is a community hub located in Cambridge with a satellite site in North Dumfries, ON. Langs provides a range of health services, including primary care, mental health services, dental care, and health promotion programs. Langs is committed to improving the health and well-being of the community by providing accessible, high-quality health services and programs.
Langs hosts annual special events to celebrate and bring our community together. Below is information on selected Langs events and fundraisers. Included in the information is a list of the various ways you can get involved.
Volunteering at any of Langs' sites provides opportunities for individuals to give back while developing leadership skills and gaining hands-on work experience. Meet new people, develop new skills and have fun! Various volunteer opportunities are available to meet a variety of needs and interests. Walking Track and Fitness Programs
Langs offers an indoor walking track at our main site on Concession Road in Cambridge and The North Dumfries Township also offers an indoor track at the North Dumfries Community Complex. A variety of adult fitness programs are also available at Langs' main site operated by Langs, or the William E. Pautler Senior Centre, and at the Grow Community Centre. Resource Centre and Community Support
Langs offers a Resource Centre at their main site, Grow Community Centre and at the North Dumfries Community Health Centre Satellite. Resources vary by site, but may include internet, phone and fax use, employment assistance and access to a Community Outreach Worker. Langs has a variety of meeting rooms at its 6 locations. The largest and most accessible rooms are located at the Langs Hub@1145 on Concession Road in Cambridge. The 58,000 sq. ft. Hub was built in 2011, and expanded by 8,200 sq. ft. in 2018 for a total of 66,000 sq. ft. The modern building features an abundance of natural light as well as a living wall, 2 green roofs, gymnasium, indoor walking track, a community kitchen and multiple meeting rooms of various sizes. We can accommodate groups of 4 to 100 guests in our meeting spaces.
Many of Langs' spaces are available for rent, including our Grand Atrium/Green Lounge which features floor to ceiling windows with a view of our private courtyard. Book your next work meeting or social event with us!
