Three GTA teens arrested in Kitchener armed robbery

Police say shots were fired during the robber, but there are no reports of physical injuries

Waterloo regional police have arrested three youths following an armed robbery in Kitchener.

On Sept. 22, at around 4 p.m., police responded to a robbery at a store near Ottawa Street South and Fischer Hallman Road.

Three suspects entered the location and stole merchandise. During the robbery a firearm was discharged, however, there are no reports of any physical injuries.

Police quickly identified the suspect's vehicle and coordinated with the Ontario Provincial Police. The vehicle was located a short time in Peel Region.

Three male suspects aged, 14, 14, and 15, all from the Greater Toronto Area, were arrested and held for a bail hearing.

The robbery unit is continuing the investigation.
