Student robbed in broad daylight at Cambridge high school

Police are investigating after a student at a Cambridge high school was robbed Wednesday morning.

Waterloo regional police say on Dec. 18, at around 1 p.m., they were called to the unnamed "Galt" school after a student was assaulted and robbed. 

The student told police they were approached by an unknown male youth around 11:30 a.m. and assaulted. The suspect stole property before fleeing.

There were no reports of any major physical injuries to the victim.
