Police investigating commercial armed robbery in Cambridge

Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a robbery in Cambridge.

On Monday, at around 3 p.m., police responded to a report of a commercial robbery in the area of Franklin Boulevard and Elgin Street North.

The incident occurred Sunday, at around 7 p.m. when an unknown male entered the business and threatened staff with an edged weapon. He took merchandise and fled the store.

There are no reports of any physical injuries.
