The Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Unit is investigating a collision involving two cyclists that occurred in Kitchener.
On Oct. 19,, at approximately 8 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a vehicle and two cyclists in the area of Ottawa Street North and Midland Drive.
Through initial investigation, it was determined that two cyclists were crossing Ottawa Street North when they were struck by a red Toyota SUV.
As a result of the collision, a 13-year-old female was transported by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The second cyclist, a 46-year-old Kitchener male and the driver of the SUV, a 23-year-old Cambridge male, both reported no physical injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
